ALM4GEST Terms of Service

1. Scope

These Terms set out the conditions for using the mobile application “ALM4GEST” (the “App”), provided by Takahiro Kawaguchi (@ekarunian, the “Operator”).

By using the App, you are deemed to have agreed to these Terms.

2. Nature of the App (unofficial)

  1. The App is an unofficial score management tool developed and operated by an individual.
  2. The App is not provided or operated by Konami Arcade Games Co., Ltd. or any KONAMI group company (“KONAMI”), and has no affiliation with KONAMI.
  3. “SOUND VOLTEX”, “DanceDanceRevolution”, “e-amusement”, and other names and trademarks belong to their respective owners.

3. Use of your e-amusement account

  1. The sync feature works by having you log in to e-amusement yourself in the App’s in-app browser, and then retrieving your own publicly available play data.
  2. The App does not collect, store, or transmit the ID, password, or other credentials used to log in.
  3. Please follow KONAMI’s terms when using e-amusement.
  4. Changes on the e-amusement side may make the sync feature unavailable.

4. Prohibited conduct

You must not:

  1. Decompile or modify the App in a way that places excessive load on e-amusement or on the App’s servers
  2. Sync another person’s e-amusement account without their permission
  3. Send falsified scores with the intent of contaminating the statistics
  4. Act in violation of law or public order

5. Advertising

  1. The App displays advertisements to cover the cost of offering it free of charge.
  2. The Operator is not responsible for the content of advertisements or for your dealings with advertisers.
  3. The handling of information related to advertising is set out in the Privacy Policy.

6. Paid services

  1. The core features of the App are free.
  2. The App may offer an optional in-app purchase (a tip) intended to support development.
  3. A tip is a gratuity for development support, not payment for additional features or services (refunds after purchase follow App Store / Google Play policy).

7. Backup feature

  1. The App offers a backup feature for carrying your data over when you change devices.
  2. A restore code issued by the App is required to retrieve backed-up data (please keep your restore code yourself).
  3. The Operator cannot provide backup data to a user who has lost their restore code.
  4. The Operator does not guarantee the preservation of backup data (please keep a separate copy of important data using the App’s export feature).

8. Disclaimer

  1. The App is provided as is, and the Operator does not guarantee that it will be complete, accurate, or continuously available.
  2. Statistics, T-scores, tiers, and similar figures are reference information based on the samples that could be collected, and their accuracy is not guaranteed.
  3. Except in cases of willful misconduct or gross negligence, the Operator is not liable for damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the App.

9. Changes to and termination of the service

The Operator may change the content of the App or stop offering it without prior notice to users.

10. Changes to these Terms

The Operator may revise these Terms as needed. Revised Terms take effect when they are posted on this page.

11. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by Japanese law, and the court with jurisdiction over the Operator’s address shall be the exclusive court of first instance for disputes concerning the App.
